Our Chairside Dental Assisting course will prepare you for many dental settings! You will complete the course over 18 weeks and 10.4 Credit hours.

Hybrid Course
Lectures are held online Monday-Friday at your own pace and Clinicals are Saturdays 8:30am-3:00pm.
In Person Course
Lectures are held in the classroom Monday and Wednsday eveings 6PM-8PM and Clinicals are Saturdays 8:30am-3:00pm.

All students are required to complete 90 hours of externship.

Upon Completion: Receive a CCDC Certificate of Completion, OSHA, and a CPR Certificate.

Students are required to complete South Carolina Board Radiology Course and Exam during their course. Students must successfully pass the exam in order to receive certifications from Capstone.

Additional Testing:

Radiation Health and Safety Exam (RHS)-
Needed to take x-rays in SC. Offered through Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Cost $270, NOT covered by CCDC.

RHS along with Infection Control Exam (ICE)- Offered through DANB. Cost $375, NOT covered by CCDC.​
