Meet Miranda Wood, CEO and Owner
Miranda Wood, EFDA

Dental Assistant- 20 years’ experience
Miranda graduated from Tri-County Tech where she received an associate’s degree in Expanded Function Dental Assisting and was awarded Patterson Clinical Excellencies award. Miranda has also received further training in fabricating temporary crown and bridge at UAB School of Dentistry. She joined Dr. Crumpton's team in October of 2002. Miranda started her career in education in 2011 where she taught the Dental Assisting course and then went on into the administrative side of managing career training schools.  She is very passionate about education and loves to see each of her students succeed in there new career path!  Miranda enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, outdoor activities, traveling and cooking!

Meet Taylor, Administrative Director

Dental Assistant- 7 years’ experience
Taylor graduated from Palmetto School of Career Development where she received her certification in Dental Assisting. She worked in the Oral Surgery field for 6 years. Taylor started her career in education in 2013 where she taught the Dental Assisting course and then went to work in administration.  Taylor is married with two children, Eli and Olivia. She enjoys being outdoors, farming, hunting, and spending time with her husband and her children!

Meet Tracy, Dental Assisting Instructor

My name is Tracy Crombie and I’ve been a Registered Dental Assistant for 24 years.  I moved here from California in 2006.  I am married to Doug one of the nicest human beings that walk this earth.  I have two daughters and a grandson. When I’m not at work I love to hang out with friends and have game nights.  
One of my passions is to lead by example. I enjoy teaching and educating others to understand and improve their dental health and how it affects their day to day lives and overall health.   

I have been teaching over three years, you can count on me to be dependable, prompt and encouraging those around me.

Meet Valerie, Dental Assisting Instructor

Valerie graduated from SCC in 2008. What she loves the most about her career is the opportunity to help and care for others, along with the pleasure of improving people's self confidence and keeping them healthy at the same time. She also loves to continue her education, eager to learn new things. Valerie currently lives in Greenville with her two daughters Gia and Taya and her husband Rhyker. On her spare time she enjoys gardening, home DIY projects, cooking, and being a self proclaimed foodie.

Meet Yvette, Dental Assisting Clinical Instructor, Dental Front Office Instructor
Yvette graduated from Spartanburg Community College as a certified expanded duty dental assistant in 2008. Yvette is certified to perform CPR and is trained in OSHA standards. She is also certified to perform x-rays. Yvette enjoys furthering her education by attending certified educational courses. In her free time, Yvette enjoys reading mystery books and spending time with her husband and two children.

Meet Amanda, Phlebotomy Technician Instructor

Amanda studied Physicians Office LabTech and Phlebotomy at Greenville Technical College from 2004-2006. She has spent the past 15 years working in blood banking. Amanda has been married for 10 years with two girls, Peyton and Raelyn. She enjoys spending time with family and friends on the weekends, grilling out, and roasting smores by the fire on chilly fall nights. She also loves vacationing at the beach every year!

Meet Tiara, Clinical Medical Assisting Instructor
Tiara has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Medical Assistant with an extensive background in healthcare with over 7 years of experience. During her most recent employment, Tiara implemented training and protocols for new hires, and created comprehensive curricula that provides Medical Assistants with a strong foundation to do their day to day tasks. Outside of her professional endeavors, Tiara enjoys spending time with her family.

Meet Donna, Phlebotomy Technician Instructor

Donna has eight years of experience in the medical field. Before entering the field of medicine, Donna held a license in cosmetology. She has one son and a Pomeranian. Her goal is to educate our students and get them set up for a career in the phlebotomy field.

Meet Chasity, Clinical Medical Assisting Instructor
Chasity graduated from Spartanburg Technical College in 2004 as a Certified Medical Assistant. She has over 18 years of experience in OB/GYN. She is also certified in CPR, DOT drug screenings, and BAT(Breath Alcohol Technician) testing, where she is also an instructor. A significant aspect of her responsibilities involves overseeing billing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness. Additionally, she is involved in conducting Biometrics Clinics and performing blood draws. She takes pride in her role in organizing health fairs aimed at introducing new and enhanced services provided by our clinics. This includes arranging various clinics such as Influenza vaccines and Hepatitis B vaccinations to promote health and wellness among our clientele. Outside of her professional commitments, she is married with three children. She enjoys supporting the South Carolina State football team as a proud percussion band mom.
