Clinical Medical Assisting

16-week course

Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm-9:30pm.

 

 

Students will learn:

  • Anatomy and Medical Terminology

  • Infection Control

  • HIPPA and Blood Borne Pathogens Training

  • Vital Signs

  • Patient Coaching

  • Assisting with Surgical Procedures

  • Medical Emergencies Training

  • Pharmacology

  • Administering Medications

  • Neurology and Behavioral Health

  • Cardiology

  • Clinical Laboratory Procedures

  • Blood Collection and Analysis

  • Direct Patient Care

 

Upon completion of the course and successfully passing the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Clinical Medical Assistant exam, students will receive a certificate of completion, OSHA/ Infection Control certification, HIPPA certification, Blood Borne Pathogens certification and CPR.
